This project was a little different—it’s actually our own home. While not a typical MarketReady Makeovers job, it’s a great showcase of what we can achieve with the right design and finishes.
The original kitchen was downstairs, which was changed to a rumpus room. The new upstairs kitchen takes advantage of the district views, with a bright, modern design featuring a large island bench, stone benchtops, and custom cabinetry.
Skylights, pendant lighting, and a panoramic window to the garden bring in light and connection, while the rattan accents and timber flooring add warmth and style.
This renovation completely transformed the downstairs living area into a stunning new master suite. What was once a tired lounge room with outdated finishes is now a luxurious retreat featuring a spacious bedroom, modern ensuite, and walk-in robe.
The new ensuite brings a touch of resort-style living, with a freestanding bath, frameless glass shower, and custom vanity. Natural textures and soft finishes were layered in the bedroom to create a calm, inviting atmosphere.
In the end, we created a welcoming family home that combines functionality with resort-style living—exactly the kind of transformation we create to maximise both lifestyle and property value.
